Gordon founded OneWhoServes, Inc. in April 2000. He has a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in electrical engineering. He has worked in the computer industry since 1978 and has designed computers, written software, built special purpose systems for unique applications, and served as a one-man Information Technology department. He has held positions in customer service, sales, and management in hardware and software companies in government, nonprofit, and corporate environments.

Gordon recently served for over 6 years on the Board of Homeward Bound of Asheville, a local nonprofit that assists the homeless, serving as President for his last 2 years. He is in his fourth term as a board member of the Executive Association of Greater Asheville and recent President of Woodburn Place Homeowners Association. To relax, he spends as much time as possible camping 5th wheel trailer style all over the country. And yes, he can still ride the unicycle that stands in the corner of his office.

Carey joined OneWhoServes, Inc. in January 2008. Before working with OneWhoServes, Carey served as the Finance Manager for two home care agencies in Western North Carolina. She has been in the bookkeeping field since 1995. Though her background is more accounting based than computer related, she has found herself the go-to person to solve basic computer related issues at most of her previous jobs and realized merging the two would serve her well here.

Carey has lived in Asheville since 2000 and enjoys bird watching, photography, camping, reading, hiking, cruising and has rediscovered her love of painting as well as loves spending time with her two Labrador retrievers, Shadow and Tanner.

Susan comes to OneWhoServes, Inc. in 2011 with 20+ years experience in customer service and business & systems administration. Her first love of accounting was combined with computers when she joined the IT Department of a large hospital group in FL. The combination has served her well since then in diverse settings from software phone support to manufacturing of herbal tinctures to sample swatch books and most recently renewable energy.

Having traveled from Missouri to Florida, Seattle and Santa Fe, she has set her roots in Asheville since 1999. A graduate from The Art of Healing program, Susan brings a grounded energetic of efficiency to managing our front office operations.

Outside the office, Susan enjoys chilling out on her front porch swing or dancin’ like no one is watching, along with conserving our earth’s resources by keeping a low carbon footprint at her West Asheville home.

Jeremy began his IT career in 1999 after getting certified through Ameritrain in Northern Virginia. Jeremy spent four years working for Getronics Information and Communication Technology Services to provide network and desktop support for Booz Allen Hamilton, a global consulting firm. In 2003, Jeremy brought his experience and his MCSE certification to Asheville, and has been working with OneWhoServes, Inc. as a Systems Engineer since September 2006.

He had a big year in 2010, when he married Rebecca Swisher, and together they welcomed their daughter Adelaide Lorraine to the world! Jeremy enjoys music, fiction, and most of all spending time with his wife and daughter.

Matthew joined OneWhoServes, Inc. in September 2007 as a Systems Engineer. He came to Western North Carolina from Virginia Beach, Virginia where he worked for 3 years at Knowledge Information Solutions Center. He specializes in data security and holds MCSE, CCNA, A+, CAN, and Cisco certifications.

Matthew has been working with computer hardware and software since he was twelve and has been interested in computer networking since he was fourteen. He enjoys problem solving and the creative process that's involved with building solutions and resolving complex issues.

Matthew enjoys spending a lot of time outdoors - hiking, taking pictures, or just driving around to places he's never been. When the weather doesn't cooperate, he is either reading or writing. Matthew has a wonderful family back in coastal Virginia that he sees as often as he can, especially during the summer when he can spend time at the beach.

Richard joined OneWhoServes, Inc. in June 2009. Prior to becoming part of the OneWhoServes team, Richard had consulted independently since 1994 and continues to serve his former clients through OneWhoServes. Richard has a degree in computer science from UNC Asheville and is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).

Richard has lived in the Asheville area since 1983. In his free time he enjoys playing tennis, driving around in his truck, and hiking out West. He has hiked the Grand Canyon from the north rim to the south and hiked up Yumnuska in Banff.

Bob Boyd has worked in the IT field since 1994 and served in the US Navy as an electronics technician. He holds his MCSE certification and worked as independent IT consultant in Florida since 2000. Bob brought his expertise to OneWhoServes in August of 2010 where his dedication to customer service has made him a natural addition to the OWS team.

Bob enjoys photography, hiking, playing disc golf, and exploring Asheville.
